SUMMARY:
The Bass Brands Marketing Lead is responsible for translating the Bass Brands category's strategic objectives into actionable marketing campaigns and initiatives for Spector and Aguilar. This role acts as the bridge between the Bass Brands Category Manager and the Creative & Deployment teams, ensuring that all marketing activities align with brand goals and sales strategies.
As the key liaison for Darkglass Electronics marketing efforts in North America – Bass Brands Marketing Lead is responsible for developing and maintaining a strategic, impactful relationship with the Content Manager of Darkglass Electronics.
 
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and manage day-to-day marketing campaigns and activities for the assigned category.
Responsible for copywriting and brand messaging; collaborate with product experts and the Category Manager to develop compelling copy and messaging strategies that support brand and sales objectives.
Coordinate with the Social/Influencer and Creative teams to ensure cohesive messaging, delivery of assets and timely execution of campaigns.
Gather and organize creative assets, ensuring all materials are on-brand and support campaign objectives.
Collaborate with Social Media, Influencer, and Artist Relations teams to identify and activate opportunities with endorsers, influencers, and creators that enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Monitor campaign performance, report on KPIs, and recommend optimizations.
Interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain product information and support campaign needs.
Manage data, spreadsheets, and reporting related to marketing activities.
Maintain open communication with the Category Manager, providing updates and seeking guidance as needed.
Work closely with the Category Product Specialist to delegate and manage administrative, organizational, and data-related tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and campaign execution.
Oversight of contractors/freelancers as necessary.
Support for events such as NAMM, Dealer Clinics, Launch Events, etc.
Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned to support departmental goals and evolving business needs.
 
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
2+ years of experience in marketing coordination, campaign management, or a similar role, preferably within the music, entertainment, or consumer products industry.
Strong copywriting and brand messaging skills, with demonstrated experience developing content for campaigns and digital channels.
Experience collaborating with product experts to develop messaging strategies.
Project management skills, include the ability to coordinate multiple campaigns and deadlines.
Familiarity with social media platforms, influencer marketing, and external communications.
Ability to work effectively with creative teams (designers, videographers, content producers).
Data management and reporting skills (spreadsheets, dashboards, analytics).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Planner, etc.).
Experience with marketing automation tools and social media management platforms is a plus.
Willingness to travel for events, meetings, and trainings as needed.
Genuine enthusiasm for music, musical instruments, and brand storytelling.

International Account ManagerMay-13-2026
SUMMARY:
The International Account Manager (Aguilar & Spector) is responsible for managing and growing a well-established network of international distributors for Aguilar and Spector bass gear brands. 
This role focuses on strengthening long-term partnerships, driving consistent sales performance, and ensuring alignment with Korg USA’s operational and strategic goals.
 
Working cross-functionally with internal teams, this position emphasizes customer service, data-driven planning, and disciplined execution of forecasts and ordering patterns. While primarily focused on existing relationships, the role also identifies targeted opportunities to strengthen global distribution coverage where gaps exist.
 
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
 
Distributor Account Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for all international Aguilar and Spector distributors
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships through consistent communication and support
Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance, introduce new products, and resolve issues
Sales Analysis & Forecasting
Collect and analyze sales, inventory, and sell-through data from distributors
Partner with distributors to develop annual forecasts and purchasing plans
Monitor performance and adjust strategies to support achievement of targets
Order Management & Supply Coordination
Support distributors in planning orders aligned with production lead times
Coordinate internally to ensure timely order processing and delivery
Communicate timelines and proactively manage supply expectations
Market Development & Dealer Coverage
Develop understanding of regional markets, including dealers and competitive landscape
Support distributors in expanding dealer networks and strengthening brand presence
Share best practices to improve overall market performance
Partnership with Marketing & Brand Teams
Align distributor activities with global marketing campaigns
Ensure access to current product information and marketing materials
Facilitate collaboration between distributors and internal brand teams
Internal Cross-Functional Coordination
Serve as liaison between distributors and internal teams including Operations, Finance, and Customer Service
Escalate and resolve issues efficiently
Provide visibility into distributor performance and business needs
Targeted Network Expansion
Identify opportunities to strengthen distribution coverage in underserved markets
Support onboarding of new distributors or expansion of existing territories
Reporting & Accountability
Prepare reports and updates on international sales performance
Track progress against goals and support distributors in meeting commitments
Address underperformance through proactive problem-solving
Travel & Flexibility
Travel internationally as needed (approximately 10–20%)
Participate in trade shows, distributor visits, and internal meetings
Maintain flexibility to support partners across multiple time zones
 
Requirements and Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in international sales or account management
Experience working with distributors or B2B partners preferred
Knowledge of bass guitars and related music equipment
Strong relationship management and customer service skills
Ability to analyze sales data and develop forecasts
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate across teams and functions
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments
Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10–20%)
Flexibility to support partners across multiple time zones
 
SALARY RANGE: $85K-$100k + Annual Sales Commission
