SUMMARY:
This role will drive Spector, Aguilar, and Darkglass sales to Distributors throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
We seek a well-qualified sales leader with experience managing and nurturing key international customer relationships. While working closely with our distributors, analyzing sales and stock data for each market, this person will create sales programs and proposals that stimulate sustainable sales and sell through across the active dealer network in each country. The International Sales Manager will interact with well-established, experienced distributors and their teams and lead the overall Korg USA effort in achieving strategic goals.
Spector, Aguilar, and Darkglass are three brands committed to delivering world-class products that inspire bass players of all levels. This position will require an extensive understanding of the bass guitar market.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the efforts of Korg USA to grow sales and achieve strategic goals for our Bass Brands in international markets.
• Manage and nurture long-term customer relationships while handling all day-to-day account management responsibilities for Distributors.
• Maintain regular video based meetings with distributors to review business, present new products, discuss market trends, opportunities, and challenges.
• Collect and analyze sales and inventory reports on a monthly basis.
• Gain an understanding of the retail landscape and the selling methods in each market. For example, who are the top retailers, and the number of active dealers that support our brands.
• Work with each distributor to support healthy placement across top dealers in each market.
• Work with distributors to maintain a consistent purchase schedule for new and existing products.
• Identify market trends based on data, review performance and make recommended steps for success.
• Work with Brand Managers and Marketing teams for Spector, Aguilar and Darkglass to align distributor activities with brand activities. The international sales manager will be the quarter back for collaborating internally, and will include these folks in regular purposeful meetings with the distribituors.
• Create plans for adding, removing, supporting distributors as needed in certain markets.
• Develop Annual Sales Forecasts and Purchasing Targets for Distributor Accounts.
• Work with Korg USA Operations and Sales Support Representative to ensure consistent delivery of goods and communicate estimated delivery dates.
• Regular review, communication, interaction with Korg USA executive team.
• Must be able to selectively travel throughout market, including in-person visits to customers.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5-7 years MI Industry Experience with an expertise in Account Management and Sales.
• Proven track record for achieving sales targets and developing business in new markets.
• Strong knowledge of Bass Guitar products.
• Able to efficiently plan travel, presentations, sales appointments.
• Strong Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Flexibility to conform work schedule to different international time zones.
• Ability to travel internationally
Salary Range: $80K-100K + Commission
