Grandstage combines hundreds of Korg’s best sounds with premium graded hammer action and a super-visible, straightforward “one knob/button per function” interface that’s designed to help players find, visualize, and recall sounds at the speed of live.
Borrowing from the workflow of the legendary SV-1 Stage Vintage Piano, Grandstage features a select-by-category knob for fast, straightforward sound selection. The ultra-bright OLED screen displays the sound clearly in any environment, and bright-red LEDs denote the position of the volume and sound select knobs. You’ll always know exactly where you are with a quick glance.
Up to 64 favorites – single sounds, splits, or layers, each with their own custom settings - can be
stored and recalled right from
the middle of the control panel.
Grandstage also holds the current sound while you’re flipping to the next one. We call it Smooth Sound Transition. You’ll call it a must-have live feature.
For an innovative twist on conventional splitting and layering, a second sound select knob, volume knob, and OLED screen are situated on the left side of the control panel. Splitting, layering, and mixing sounds has never been easier – or more visual.
Grandstage features Korg's finest graded hammer action, delivering authentic feel and a natural weighted playing response. Both the 73 and 88-note versions of Grandstage offer the RH3 action, which is also found on Korg’s flagship Kronos Workstations and the acclaimed SV-1 – relied upon and revered by musicians around the world for nearly a decade.
A first-of-its-kind Dynamics knob gives you instant control over dynamic response and volume.
